K9 Memorial is a charity which are raising funds to provide a dedicated memorial site and fitting sculpture for the brave and unsung heroes of the canine police force. This memorial would be a UK first and some would say long overdue, especially when looking to our US friends and European neighbours where monuments of this importance have been around for a long time.

Ian Strange, Head of Internal Events at the Arena said: “We are delighted we had so many visiting dogs to Just Dogs Live who have all kindly donated. Its great that we are able to give something back to these amazing dogs and to honour the memory of the many dogs who have played such a valuable role within the police service and given their lives to help keep our communities safe.”
Just Dogs Live was a “Paw-sititvely great day out again and enjoyed by both competitors and visitors alike. Monies were also raised for Jerry Green Rescue at Boston Lincs from the Scruffts cross bred heats and the money from the companion dog show on the Sunday goes to Hungarian Vizsla welfare charity.

Dates for next year’s show are the 7.8.9 July 2017 more details are available from www.justdogslive.co.uk
